Amerlux Appoints Director of Project Management

Oakland, N.J. — Amerlux has named Gary Harvey as director of project management, a newly created position, according to CEO/President Chuck Campagna. Most recently, he served as senior product manager for exterior lighting for Amerlux.

Harvey will be responsible for overseeing the details and specifications for all fixtures specified for major rollouts, custom and/or highly technical projects.

“With over two decades of industry experience, Gary is a top-flight executive who is perfect for managing the many details of large, high profile projects,” says Campagna.

Harvey will work closely with sales representatives, engineers, production personnel and customers. He will report directly to Bill Plageman, vice president of marketing.

Prior to joining Amerlux, Harvey served as director of product management for Lighting Science Group Corporation and global product marketing manager for Philips Electronics and Philips Lighting.
