Build-A-Bear Workshop To Open 2nd Hospital Location

St. Louis — Build-A-Bear Workshop, Inc., with more than 400 retail stores worldwide, will open its second hospital-based store at Baltimore’s Sinai Hospital on February 27.

St. LouisBuild-A-Bear Workshop®, the interactive entertainment retailer of customized stuffed animals, will open a new store in Sinai Hospital in Baltimore on February 27, 2012. Of the more than 400 operating locations around the world, this will be the second Build-A-Bear Workshop store located inside of a hospital.

The vast majority of Build-A-Bear Workshop stores are located within shopping malls. Build-A-Bear Workshop also has non-traditional stores located within three Major League Baseball ballparks, a store at the St. Louis Zoo, the St. Louis Science Center, Orlando International Airport and within select Rain Forest Café® and T-Rex Café locations. The first Build-A-Bear Workshop store in a hospital opened in March 2011 at Cook Children’s Medical Center in Fort Worth, Texas.
