Philadelphia — The 95,000-square-foot off-price retail store will mark Century 21’s first venture outside of metropolitan New York.

Philadelphia — The renowned New York-based fashion retailer Century 21 Department Store, best known for delivering designer merchandise at up to 65% off retail, will open its doors in Philadelphia on October 28, 2014. As the anchor tenant of The Gallery, a shopping center undergoing a highly anticipated redevelopment, Century 21 Department Store is set to pave the way for more fast-fashion and designer retailers to open in the coming years.

“We are excited to join the fabric of the Philadelphia community and look forward to being the first of many to join the revitalization of the Market East corridor,” says Raymond Gindi, CEO of Century 21 Department Store.

Century 21 Department Store, established in 1961, is headquartered in downtown Manhattan, with four other locations in New York including Lincoln Square, Brooklyn, Queens, Long Island and three additional metropolitan New York locations in New Jersey including Paramus, Morristown and Elizabeth.
