Dave Bolen Joins Pet Supplies “Plus” as President

Farmington Hills, MI — Pet Supplies “Plus” has hired Dave Bolen as president. Previously, he has spent time in merchandising, store operations, marketing, real estate and supply chain.

 

Farmington Hills, MI — Pet Supplies “Plus” (PSP) has hired Dave Bolen to join the company as president, effective May 2, 2011. PSP, a portfolio company of Irving Place Capital, is the third-largest pet specialty retailer in the United States.

Bolen has over 40 years of experience in the retail sector, with leadership experience across a variety of functions, including merchandising, store operations, marketing, real estate and supply chain. Most recently, he spent 5 years at PETCO Animal Supplies, a national retailer of pet food and supplies, as executive vice president and chief merchandising officer. Prior to PETCO, Bolen served as executive vice president, merchandising, marketing and supply chain at Jo-Ann Stores, a leading specialty retailer of fabric and craft supplies.
