Dick’s Sporting Goods Enters Oklahoma With 3 New Stores

Pittsburgh — Dick’s Sporting Goods will open three new stores in Tulsa and Broken Arrow, Okla., this week — marking its first stores in the state of Oklahoma.

 

 

Pittsburgh — Dick’s Sporting Goods, the largest U.S. based full-line sporting goods retailer, will open three new stores in Tulsa and Broken Arrow, Okla., on Nov. 2, 2011. These are the company’s first stores in the state of Oklahoma.

The three stores — located at the Tulsa Hills Shopping Center in Tulsa; at Union Plaza in Tulsa; and at The Shops at Broken Arrow in Broken Arrow — are the company’s 477th, 478th and 479th nationwide.

“We couldn’t be more excited for Dick’s Sporting Goods to enter the great state of Oklahoma in such a major way,” says Lauren Hobart, chief marketing officer, Dick’s Sporting Goods.

Dick’s Sporting Goods, Inc. also owns and operates Golf Galaxy, LLC, a golf specialty retailer, which has 81 stores in 30 states.
