Columbus, OH — DSW Inc. has opened its newest store on 34th Street in Manhattan’s fashion district. The retailer plans to open a second store on the Upper West Side early this summer.
Columbus, OH — DSW Inc., a leading branded footwear and accessories retailer, has opened its newest store on 34th Street in Manhattan. The store is located in the heart of New York’s fashion district. DSW also plans to open a store on the Upper West Side at 79th and Broadway in early summer 2012.
“We are thrilled to announce the opening of two new stores in New York City,” says Mike MacDonald, president and CEO, DSW Inc. “When combined with our existing Manhattan store at Union Square on 14th Street, these stores will allow DSW to cover a much larger geography and to serve many more New Yorkers.”
At over 33,000 square feet, the 34th Street store is the one of the largest in the DSW chain. It boasts three floors of selling space. The DSW store at 79th and Broadway will also be large, measuring over 32,000 square feet.
