DWM Facilities Maintenance Unveils Construction & Renovations Division

by Katie Lee

Latham, N.Y. — DWM Facilities Maintenance has unveiled its Construction & Renovations division. In order to better execute large-scale projects without affecting responsive maintenance services, DWM revamped its corporate alignment by forming a Construction & Renovations division.

“As we began noticing an uptick in larger-scale projects-based work, our executive staff determined that slightly revamping our corporate structure would provide countless benefits to clients utilizing our projects-based services,” says Brian Whitt, chief operating officer.

“We have been providing construction-based projects services to clients for over 15 years, but until recently, the projects side of our business arose from day-to-day service,” adds David Meeks, president of DWM. “Our goal is to provide more cost-effective and timely service all around. Our staff acknowledged the differences between responsive maintenance and large-scale projects and determined that making a separate division would allow us to better focus our efforts to meet this goal.”

The Construction & Renovations division will allow on- and off-site project management, architectural services, and rollout specialists to work in synergy.

DWM, with its headquarters and national call center in Latham, N.Y., was founded by Meeks in 1997. DWM delivers a comprehensive platform of general maintenance, handyman, carpet cleaning, project management, remodeling/rollouts, water filtration services, and emergency services. Proven service options include programmed maintenance, on-demand break-fix service, and project management. DWM features 24/7 emergency service response, efficient web-based online work order tracking, consolidated invoicing and digital backup. DWM services the retail, restaurant, grocery, convenience store, commercial and financial markets.
