Eddie V’s Set To Debut in Pittsburgh this March

Pittsburgh — Renowned seafood restaurant Eddie V’s will open in Pittsburgh on March 6, 2017. The new, 274-seat restaurant will open in the historic Union Trust Building, joining the architectural landmark that recently underwent a $100 million restoration.

“With new living spaces being constructed in Downtown Pittsburgh, and sports stadiums and cultural attractions within walking distance, there is an increased appetite for innovation from restaurants,” said Ronald Lattanzio, Managing Partner. “We are excited to introduce the charismatic vibe of Eddie V’s to the city, especially as part of such a storied landmark.”

Located at 501 Grant St., Eddie V’s Pittsburgh will host guests in both the main dining room and three private dining rooms for business meetings and celebratory occasions. The 9,390-square-foot space will be highlighted by a glass-enclosed, walk-through wine cellar and contemporary, Art Deco-inspired design. The V Lounge features an oval-shaped bar top, cocktail tables and elevated booth seating.

The restaurant is a central part of the historic Union Trust Building’s restoration, spearheaded by a Boston-based developer, The Davis Companies (TDC). Built in 1915 by industrialist Henry Clay Frick, the Union Trust Building’s Flemish-Gothic design makes it one of the most prominent elements of the city’s architectural heritage.

“Our vision for the Union Trust Building was to create a modern, mixed-use environment that respects the building’s historic past, architectural significance and breathtaking beauty, while adding life and energy to the building and the neighborhood,” says Jonathan G. Davis, CEO and founder of The Davis Companies. “We couldn’t be more delighted that Eddie V’s will bring its charismatic vibe to the building.”

Founded in 2000, Eddie V’s currently operates 15 locations across the U.S. For more information, visit eddiev.com.
