Englewood Construction Names Four New Hires

Chicago — Lemont, Ill.-based Englewood Construction has hired four new team members, including (from left to right) Tina McGrath as senior business development manager; Juan Rojas as assistant controller; Ron Koepl as project manager; and Richard Mendonsa as project engineer.

“We have a growing pipeline of construction work coming our way as the sectors we specialize in continue to thrive, so we’re thrilled to put new team members in place that will help us manage this influx of business and seamlessly execute future projects,” says Bill Di Santo, president of Englewood Construction.

In her position as senior business development manager, McGrath brings more than 10 years of industry experience and an extensive background in retail and restaurant construction to Englewood. Most recently, McGrath was business development manager for Berglund Construction. 

As assistant controller, Rojas provides accounting, budgeting, cash management, treasury and tax handling functions for Englewood Construction. Previously, he was a project accountant for Power Construction Co.

Koepl, Englewood’s newly hired project manager, comes to the firm with 38 years of construction experience. In his new role he will oversee projects in new construction, foodservice and hospitality. Most recently, Koepl was project manager at Chicago-based Powers & Sons Construction Co.

Mendonsa, Englewood’s new project engineer, is a 2015 graduate of Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis who previously served as an intern for Englewood Construction.
