Jo-Ann Hires SVPs of Marketing and Merchandising

Hudson, Ohio — Jim Wright will serve as the senior vice president, marketing and advertising, and Megan Featherston will fill the role of senior vice president, merchandising.

 

Hudson, Ohio — Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft Stores, a leading fabric and craft specialty retailer, has added two industry veterans to lead the company’s marketing and merchandising divisions.

Effective immediately, Jim Wright will serve as the senior vice president, marketing and advertising, and Megan Featherston will fill the role of senior vice president, merchandising, at Jo-Ann.

“We are excited to welcome Jim and Megan to the Jo-Ann team,” says Riddi Kline, executive vice president, marketing and merchandising. “Over the course of their careers, Jim and Megan have proven themselves to be accomplished leaders in an ever-changing retail environment.”

Wright has served in multiple marketing leadership roles at key national retail brands. He was most recently senior vice president, marketing, at Express where he was responsible for their brick-and-mortar and e-commerce advertising and marketing strategies. Wright will oversee the advertising, corporate communications, creative services and marketing teams.

Featherston’s background includes leadership positions for buying, product design and development, planning and allocation, and promotion in various retail environments. She was recently president of the fine jewelry business unit at Sears Holdings Corporation. Featherston will oversee the inventory management, merchandising, product development and sourcing, and visual presentation teams.
