Lowe’s Hires Senior Vice President, Business Development

Mooresville, N.C. — Lowe’s Companies, Inc. has hired James K. Han as senior vice president of business development. He joins the company from Tyco International.

In this new role, Han is responsible for accelerating the company’s business development strategy focused on identifying and implementing growth opportunities through new and emerging businesses, exponential innovation and corporate ventures.

“James brings a breadth of experience to Lowe’s with demonstrated success critical to our growth and development strategy,” says Richard D. Maltsbarger, chief development officer. “We are confident that James’ dynamic leadership approach will help propel our efforts to enhance and revolutionize the customer experience while growing our business.”

With more than 20 years of experience, Han has provided leadership in the areas of product management, business development, marketing, strategy and operations. He joins Lowe’s most recently from Tyco International where he served as vice president of global marketing, product management and business development for the company’s retail solutions business. Han has also held leadership positions at Federal Signal Corporation, Rockwell Automation, FMC Corporation and Pitney Bowes.
