Englewood, CO — Sports Authority, the nation’s premier full-line sporting goods retailer, will open four new stores in Texas and California later this month.
In Texas, the company will open two new stores in Friendswood and Plano on May 14, 2011. The 35,000-square-foot stores will be located in the Baybrook Shopping Area and in West Plano, respectively.
On the same day, May 14, Sports Authority will also open stores in Sherman Oaks and Monterey County, Calif. The Sherman Oaks store will be located in the Westfield Fashion Square. The Monterey County store, to be located in the Edgewater Shopping Center, will mark the first Sports Authority location in Monterey County.
