Zoup! Opens 100th Restaurant

Southfield, Mich. — Zoup!, a leading fast-casual soup concept restaurant, got its start in 1998 with a single restaurant in Southfield, Mich. On March 16, 2017 the flagship Zoup! welcomed a second location to Southfield, marking yet another momentous milestone: the opening of its 100th restaurant.

The new 1,800-square-foot restaurant is located in Southfield’s City Centre II complex. This will be the eighth Zoup! in the greater Detroit area and the 17th in Michigan.

“I’m truly honored to open the 100th Zoup! in the system and equally as thrilled to introduce our beautiful new restaurant to the Southfield community,” says franchisee Tonisha Bryant, who owns the new restaurant along with her husband, Vincent.

“Every new Zoup! opening is special, but this one is a little different,” says Eric Ersher, founder and CEO of Zoup!. “When we first created Zoup! 18 years ago, after discovering that really good soup was hard to find, we knew we were onto something. As we approach the opening of our 100th restaurant, I’m reminded of how far we’ve come to enjoy this milestone right here in our backyard.”

Zoup! currently has restaurants in 19 states/provinces throughout the United States and Canada. For more information, visit zoup.com.
