Milwaukee — Zurn Industries LLC has promoted Scott McDowell to global vice president of marketing and business development. In this role, McDowell manages strategic accounts and leads the enhancement of innovation and product development. He also pursues potential acquisitions with Zurn’s parent company, Rexnord. McDowell previously held the dual titles of general manager of commercial brass and senior director of marketing for Zurn.
“This move will bring an increased focus to innovate and commercialize new products faster across the company, and develop new market adjacencies for the Zurn portfolio,” says Craig Wehr, president of Zurn.
Zurn manufactures engineered water solutions, including a wide spectrum of sustainable plumbing products. Based in Milwaukee, Rexnord includes two platforms — Process & Motion Control and Water Management.
