Atlanta — Launched in 2012, Country Club Prep has experienced an annual 600% growth rate; further expansion is planned for the brand.
Atlanta — Country Club Prep will open its first brick-and-mortar store in Charlottesville, Va., on August 23. Launched in 2012, Country Club Prep has experienced an annual 600% growth rate.
“Our goal for Country Club Prep has always been to make it easy, efficient and fun for people to shop for preppy-styled clothing and discover new designers,” says Stephen Glasgow, co-founder.
The entertaining, stress-free environment of Country Club Prep’s first brick-and-mortar location, as well as those to come, aims to make shopping easy and enjoyable.
On the heels of the Charlottesville grand opening, near the University of Virginia, the founders are already planning their second location near the University of Kentucky, with an anticipated opening this fall.
“The discerning preppy customers who shop with us aren’t looking for another faceless department store in a big city,” says Matt Watson, co-founder of Country Club Prep. “That’s the void we’re looking to fill by opening in college and resort towns.”
Country Club Prep is a one-stop shop for all preppy clothing and accessories, offering favorite all-American brands like Vineyard Vines, Ralph Lauren and Lilly Pulitzer, plus up-and-coming designers like Lauren James and Red’s Outfitters. In addition, Country Club prep carries college spirit and Greek apparel and accessories. For more information, visit www.CountryClubPrep.com.
