Aspen, Colo. — This marks the first location outside of the Pacific Northwest for the Seattle-based retailer.
Aspen, Colo. — Filson, a Seattle-based retailer of outdoor goods, has opened its newest retail store in the Rocky Mountain resort of Aspen. The 900-square-foot Aspen store is the company’s first retail location in the U.S. outside of the Pacific Northwest. The shop offers Filson apparel, signature luggage and leather accessories.
“Filson has been crafting durable goods for those who refuse to stay indoors since the Alaskan Gold Rush,” says Alan Kirk, CEO of Filson. “There are few places in the world with a higher concentration of outdoor enthusiasts than Colorado. We look forward to being closer to our longtime customers in this state as well as the region’s many international guests.”
Filson recently opened its first international store in London last spring. Established in 1897, the company has flagship locations in Seattle and Portland, Ore.
