Jacksonville, FL — Harbinger, a national sign and lighting firm specializing in fabrication design engineering and project management, has expanded and opened a new facility adding capacity, enhancing capabilities and creating room for growth.
Harbinger, formerly Quality Sign, is Jacksonville-based and family-owned and opened. The new, 51,500-square-foot facility, which opened this week, has 40,000 square feet of manufacturing space — more than doubling the company’s production space.
“During the economic downturn, Harbinger has sustained steady growth, has not laid off any employees and has been able to expand its sales, revenues, employees and now its physical location,” says Roger Williams, CEO of Harbinger.
“The new building better reflects who we are, what we are best at and is a platform for communicating our history and future — all part of the rebranding we began in early 2010,” says Steve Williams, president of Harbinger. “The new building will allow us to increase our capacity by offering flexibility of multiple shifts, production efficiency, a more efficient plant layout all supporting our dedication to lean principles in manufacturing.”
