Victory Sign Industries Makes New Hire & Executive Promotions

Fort Oglethorpe, GA — Victory Sign Industries has made a new hire as well as several executive promotions.

 

Fort Oglethorpe, GA — Courtney Cross has joined Victory Sign Industries, Ltd. as its national account manager. She will be responsible for new national customer development, marketing and social media strategies. “We are delighted that Courtney has joined our company. Her background will greatly complement the depth of expertise in our sales department,” says Richard Paryse, the company’s president.

In other personnel news, Richard Paryse, who has served as the president of Victory Sign Industries since his purchase of the company in 1988, will assume the duties of chairman of the board, effective immediately. Paryse has grown the company from a small local sign shop to a thriving national sign company that provides custom manufacturing, installation and service to retailers across the U.S. Prior to his acquisition of the company, Paryse worked for Beatrice Foods for over 20 years and held various executive positions.

James (Jim) Paryse, who joined Victory Sign Industries in 2007 as vice president of operations, has been promoted to chief operations officer (COO). “Jim’s insight into the entire manufacturing process has provided the company with streamlined procedures and expanded products. He has been instrumental in purchasing new advanced technology equipment, which affords us the opportunity to increase productivity with fewer man hours, thus increasing sales capacity,” says Richard Paryse.

Lynn E. Latimer has been appointed chief financial officer (CFO) for Victory Sign Industries. She has been with the company over 9 years with her most recent role as vice president of finance and administration. “Lynn brings a wealth of experience to this position,” says Richard Paryse. “Her quality of dedication to the overall success of the company is a major contributing factor to our continuing growth.”
