Cauldron Ice Cream Expands California Presence

Irvine, Calif. — Cauldron Ice Cream, the rapidly growing Orange County, Calif.-based scoop shop known for its made-to-order nitrogen ice cream, innovative flavors and viral OG Puffle cone, opened a new Irvine, Calif., location on January 12, 2019.

“Our goal is to create a truly memorable experience for each guest, whether they’re enjoying a bold flavor like Earl Grey Lavender or trying our newly launched ‘Fluffypuff’ — a Japanese fluffy pancake ice cream sandwich,” says James Ho, founder and CEO of the Cauldron Collective franchise group. “Irvine is the ideal location for our unique twist on a classic treat, and we look forward to welcoming the community to try our delicious, creative ice cream flavors.”

The Irvine location is the second of three stores to open under Cauldron Collective, a franchise organization comprised of James Ho, Dan Nguyen and Steven Cao. The group is exploring prospective locations for one additional Cauldron Ice Cream store that will open in Orange County in the next year.

Despite only joining the scene in 2015, Cauldron Ice Cream quickly made a splash in the media with features in Cosmopolitan, People Magazine, Food Network and more for its creative flavor offerings and unique presentation. The ice cream is served as traditional or rose-shaped scoops in Cauldron Ice Cream’s signature OG Puffle Cone, an egg-based waffle cone inspired by a popular Hong Kong street snack.

Cauldron Ice Cream currently operates California locations in Santa Ana, Artesia, Glendale, Pasadena, Temple City and Chino Hills, with more than 20 units coming to Canada, Texas and California.

Cauldron Ice Cream is partnered with Fransmart, a leading franchise development company, as its exclusive franchise development partner to grow the brand. For more information, visit http://go.fransmart.com/cauldron or www.cauldronicecream.com.
