Dallas — Cushman & Wakefield, a global leader in commercial real estate services, has inked a deal with Jamba, Inc. to lease approximately 25,000 square feet of space in HALL Office Park, HALL Group’s 2.2 million square-foot office park in Frisco, Texas. Once complete, the move will relocate the company’s headquarters from Emeryville, Calif., to North Texas.
“With the pending expiration of our lease in Emeryville at the end of 2016, we explored a number of location options that would offer us competitive operating costs, a region with extensive access to skilled restaurant talent, an attractive cost of living to our current and future team members, and a geographical location that facilitates our ability to expand our store base,” says David A. Pace, chief executive officer of Jamba, Inc.
The eight-story, Class AA office building will include approximately 19,000 square feet of office and meeting space, as well as an approximately 6,000-square-foot test kitchen and store front. The center will house the company’s operations, business development, sales and marketing, finance, supply chain, technology and human resources.
Cushman & Wakefield’s Robbie Baty and Bill McClung brokered the lease on behalf of Jamba Juice. HALL Group’s Kim Butler, Brad Gibson and Tammy Nellis completed the lease on behalf of HALL Office Park.
In all, Jamba Juice expects to employ approximately 100 people in Frisco, with a portion of the positions to be filled by employees who relocate from California, combined with those newly hired in Texas.
Jamba, Inc. owns and franchises Jamba Juice® stores through its wholly-owned subsidiary, Jamba Juice Company.
