Pleasanton, Calif. — Final touches are being made in preparation for the grand opening of Lucky California’s newly remodeled flagship store and innovation lab on May 12 in Pleasanton, Calif. The neighborhood grocery store has been extensively remodeled and rebranded from Lucky to Lucky California.

The Eatery offers tri tip barbeque and juicy burgers, create your own noodle and rice bowls, familiar comfort food favorites, and fusion burritos with savory Indian, Chinese and Korean sauces. Everything is made fresh. Eatery meals can be enjoyed at the outdoor patio, taken to go or mobile ordered for delivery on Door Dash, Grubhub, Postmates, and Uber Eats.

The Drinkery is where guests can pick up their morning coffee or juice, an afternoon lemonade or smoothie, or an after-work beer or glass of local Livermore Valley wine.

The Entertaining Island is a finger-food nirvana and the perfect place to find delicious bites for entertaining or everyday enjoying. The team at the Entertaining Island will help guests create their own social media-worthy charcuterie and cheese boards from the incredible array of meat and cheeses, including local selections. There’s also custom-made dips, salsa, guacamole and hummus, olives, antipasto, and fresh-cut herbs, fruit and veggies, and all priced to fit every budget.

The Demo Station features interactive cooking demonstrations that are fun and easy for home chefs of every level. The Demo Station will offer pre-made sauces and sides, and meal kit solutions complete with pre-measured, pre-cut ingredients.

The Meat & Seafood Grill will provide recommendations on everything from selecting the right cut to seasoning and marinating.
