Neiman Marcus Names New President; CFO to Depart

Dallas — Neiman Marcus Group has appointed Lana Todorovich to as president and chief merchandising officer. She will be responsible for driving the brand’s innovative merchandising offerings which are a key component of its strategic plan. Todorovich joins Neiman Marcus from Ralph Lauren.

Todorovich, who will report to Neiman Marcus Group CEO Geoffroy van Raemdonck, is expected to be a key leader in Neiman Marcus Group’s transformation strategy, moving to a more customer-centric organization by creating a new and engaging luxury retail experience for the global customer.

“Lana is a great addition to our leadership team,” says van Raemdonck. “As we build the preeminent luxury customer platform to bring seamless, personal and magical experiences to our customers, Lana’s depth of experience will help elevate the Neiman Marcus brand for customers, brand partners and our associates.”

Todorovich brings an extensive background in leading merchandising teams to success. Prior to joining Neiman Marcus Group, Todorovich was president of North America Wholesale at Ralph Lauren, president of Women’s Apparel Group at Global Brands Group and president at Perry Ellis International. Todorovich also held leadership roles at Warnaco-Calvin Klein.

In other Neiman Marcus personnel news, Adam Orvos, executive vice president, chief financial officer and operating officer, plans to resign. He will remain with Neiman Marcus Group through October 11, 2019 to assist with the transition.

“Adam has been a passionate advocate for our transformation,” says van Raemdonck. “Most importantly, he guided us through our debt refinancing, which was recently completed and has provided us ample runway to execute our strategy. Our business is on solid ground as we enter the new fiscal year with renewed energy for our mission.”

A search has begun for Orvos’s replacement and in the interim, there are a number of talented leaders at the company who will work closely with Orvos and the executive team to ensure a smooth transition over the coming weeks.
