Charlotte, N.C. — Tim Austin joins Take 5 Car Wash as president from the retail hearing healthcare company, Lucid Hearing, where he served as president and COO, helping grow the company to over 500 worldwide locations. Take 5 Oil Change also has added a senior vice president of field operations, Missy McKinley. She most recently served as senior vice president of operations for Scooter’s Coffee.

Prior to his time at Lucid, Austin held several executive level roles at Sears Holdings, culminating as senior vice president of retail services, where he led store operations for more than 900 locations. Austin built his career at Walmart, where he advanced through multiple field operations roles and executive positions.
Austin assumes the president role that was previously held on an interim basis by Danny Rivera, executive vice president and COO of parent company Driven Brands.
McKinley’s background includes key leadership positions at Circle K and Dollar Tree Stores. During her tenure at Scooter’s Coffee, the company doubled average unit volume (AUV) and expanded store locations significantly within a short timeframe.
