Atlanta — Smalls Sliders is opening its first-ever college campus locations at the University of Central Florida (UCF) and the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss). The milestone marks Smalls Sliders’ official entrance into collegiate dining and the beginning of a long term strategy to bring the brand to more high-traffic, non-traditional environments across the country. The UCF location is slated to open in September, with the Ole Miss location expected to open in October.
The two locations showcase the versatility of the Smalls Sliders concept while bringing the brand directly into the heart of two vibrant campus communities. At UCF in Orlando, Fla., Smalls will introduce a new traditional dining room format, offering students, faculty and visitors a new way to experience the brand, while the Ole Miss location in Oxford, Miss., will bring Smalls into the action inside the university’s basketball arena.
College campuses represent a natural extension for Smalls Sliders, as its streamlined operations and emphasis on speed and convenience are well suited for busy students and high-volume environments.
