Pasadena, Calif. — Dog Haus will soon make its Florida debut. The California-born concept has signed an area development agreement with seasoned restaurant franchisees Livingston and Terri Chatman, marking the brand’s first expansion into the Sunshine State.

Livingston, a notable University of Florida basketball alumnus, and his wife, Terri, bring more than 20 years of experience in franchising multiple restaurant concepts. The duo plans to open their first Dog Haus location in Tampa in late 2025 or early 2026. They are exploring potential additional sites across Florida in the years ahead.

“We’re excited to welcome Livingston and Terri to the Dog Haus family,” says Erik Hartung, executive vice president of Dog Haus. “Their extensive experience and passion for quality, along with their dedication to operational excellence, make them excellent partners as we expand into new markets. Florida represents a major milestone for us, and we’re confident the Chatmans will help establish a strong foundation for growth in the region.”

Dog Haus, an award-winning, craft-casual concept known for its burgers, brats and brews, was founded in 2010. The first Dog Haus opened in Pasadena, Calif., and has since expanded to 50+ locations. For more information, visit www.doghaus.com.
