Talbots To Replace CEO

Hingham, MA — This week, Talbots’ board of directors formally began the process of identifying a successor to Trudy F. Sullivan, the company’s president and CEO.

 

 

Hingham, MA — The Talbots, Inc. announced this week that its board of directors has formally begun the process of identifying a successor to Trudy F. Sullivan, the company’s president and chief executive officer. The board has formed a search committee, comprised solely of independent board members, and has engaged Spencer Stuart to conduct the search.

TrudySullivanSullivan, who intends to retire once a successor has been identified, has agreed to continue to serve as president, CEO and a member of the board of directors of Talbots in the interim to ensure a smooth transition.

“Trudy is an exceptional executive and has been a visionary leader in the specialty retail industry throughout her illustrious career,” says Gary M. Pfeiffer, chairman of the board of directors.
