Black Sheep Coffee Secures 20-Store Development Agreement Across Dallas-Fort Worth

Dallas — Black Sheep Coffee, an international coffee brand with a rapidly expanding U.S. presence, has secured a 20-store multi-unit development agreement across the Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) metroplex. The deal marks a significant step in the brand’s Texas growth strategy and continued expansion across the United States.

The agreement will bring 20 additional locations to the DFW region over the next 5 years, with planned sites across Richland Hills, Bedford, Plano, Garland, Rowlett, Mobile City, Sunnyvale, Richardson and Sachse. The expansion builds on Black Sheep Coffee’s established footprint in North Texas, where the brand currently operates cafés along Preston Road, East Mockingbird Lane and in the Grapevine area.

“Dallas-Fort Worth continues to be an important market as we build our presence in Texas,” says Lewis Blakey, head of franchising at Black Sheep Coffee. “This agreement allows us to expand thoughtfully while introducing more communities to the Black Sheep Coffee experience.”

Founded in 2013 by college roommates Gabriel Shohet and Eirik Holth, Black Sheep Coffee was the first specialty coffee company in the UK to focus on 100% specialty-grade Robusta beans, known for their bold flavor profile, smooth finish and naturally higher caffeine. Today, the brand operates more than 130 locations across the UK, Europe, the Middle East, Asia and the United States, including cafés in Texas and Miami, with continued expansion planned throughout 2026.

Formed in 2025, YOLOWAY’s is a franchise group that brings together complementary expertise across hospitality, retail, consulting and commercial development, creating a well-balanced leadership group focused on scaling Black Sheep Coffee across key U.S. markets through its long term franchise partnership with the brand.
