Body Central Names New CEO

Jacksonville, Fla. — Women’s apparel retailer Body Central Corp. has named Brian Woolf as its new CEO and appointed him to the board of directors.

 

Jacksonville, Fla. — Women’s apparel retailer Body Central Corp. has named Brian Woolf as its new CEO and appointed him to the board of directors. Woolf joins the company with more than 40 years of specialty retailing and department store experience. He most recently serviced as group president for Lane Bryant, Lane Bryant Outlet Stores and Cacique. 

“I am thrilled to be joining Body Central and look forward to working with the entire team as we continue to develop our brand strategy,” said Woolf. “I am excited about the opportunity to grow the company, strengthen our junior business and increase shareholder value.”

Tom Stoltz, who had been serving as interim CEO, will continue in his role as COO and CFO. 

Body Central was founded in 1973 and currently operates 276 stores in 26 states under the Body Central and Body Shop banners.
