Bunbury Wine Bar Relocates to Downtown Miami’s Arts & Entertainment District

Miami — One of Wynwood’s most-loved wine bars, Bunbury, has made its way to Downtown Miami’s Arts & Entertainment district. After more than 5 years in the Miami arts district of Wynwood, co-owners Paula Costa and Fernanda Orellano thought it was time to expand and bring a hint of Argentine flair to the downtown neighborhood.

Now open in Square Station, a newly-built apartment complex by fellow Argentinian developers the Melo Group, Bunbury took 7,500 square feet of ground-floor space with ample indoor and outdoor seating at the base of the 34-story towers located across from the Miami-Dade Metromover’s School Board Station.

The new Bunbury introduces a fresh concept with the integration of Fonda Café by Bunbury. Retaining much of the menu, service and spirit that have contributed to the original wine bar’s success, Bunbury serves breakfast and lunch to locals and tourists in the area at Fonda Café. The new bar offers a classic old-fashioned mixology serving inventive cocktails and a fully-equipped liquor bar.

“We could have moved anywhere in Miami but couldn’t resist the opportunity to move Bunbury to Downtown’s Arts & Entertainment district,” says Costa. “This area is fast-becoming a destination for our clients, and we look forward to welcoming our loyal customers and neighbors for a glass of wine, empanada or morning cafecito in a laid back, relaxing space and setting.”
