Nashville, Tenn. — Captain D’s has promoted Summer Sims to director of operations. In her new role, Sims will oversee the operations and financial responsibilities of Alabama, Mississippi, Oklahoma and Arkansas territories and help to hire and develop talented professionals for these areas.
Sims’s career at Captain D’s spans over two decades, beginning with her first job as a guest specialist and placing her in every position in the restaurant operations arena: hospitality supervisor, assistant general manager, general manager, operations standards auditor and area director.

To date, nearly 70% of all restaurants have been reimaged to the brand’s new vibrant, coastal design, with another 50 locations to be remodeled by the end of this year.
