Following more than 3 months of ceiling-to-floor renovations, the supermarket is set to celebrate its grand re-opening on December 13, 2017.

Cedar Knolls, N.J. — The groundbreaking for a stand-alone building that will house two restaurants at Hanover Crossroads marks the final phase of construction for the 107,000-square-foot Morris County, N.J., shopping center. IHOP and Mangiamo’s, an Italian eatery with catering services, will occupy the 8,650-square-foot structure, according to owner/developer Key Properties.

St. Louis — St. Louis-based Knoebel Construction has completed construction of the 50th store it has built for fashion boutique Altar’d State in 5 years, working with the retailer across 26 states. Knoebel has worked with the retailer nearly since its inception and through rapid expansion, constructing stores that create a unique brick-and-mortar shopping experience.

Chicago — Englewood Construction has begun construction on two Outback Steakhouse restaurants in Illinois, and has recently completed an Olive Garden Italian Restaurant in Utah. The national general contractor has also completed a new Trader Joe’s in Iowa (pictured here), and started interior remodeling projects for three test kitchens and training facilities for US Foods in California, Arizona and Maryland.

Raleigh, N.C. — Construction manager Williams Company Southeast will break ground this month for the new Wegmans-anchored Midtown East retail center near downtown Raleigh, N.C., under a contract exceeding $20 million. Regency Centers based in Jacksonville, Fla., is developing the project in partnership with ITB Holdings LLC of Chapel Hill, N.C.

Raleigh, N.C. — Golden Corral, the nation’s largest grill-buffet chain, plans a major redesign of its restaurants. The first new building prototype, called Gateway, is under construction in Greensboro, N.C., and will open later this year. The Gateway design is intended to allow Golden Corral to provide an enhanced experience for its guests, as well as a more efficient operating platform for its operators.

Orlando, Fla. — Tavistock Development Company, a diversified real estate firm owned by Tavistock Group, has selected Hoar Construction as the preconstruction program manager and master general contractor for the next phase of development of the Lake Nona Town Center which will include more than 1 million square feet of retail, restaurant, entertainment, office and hospitality uses.
