Scottsdale, Ariz. — Cold Stone Creamery® plans to open multiple locations throughout Lebanon over the next few years, beginning in Beirut. Kahala Brands™, the parent company of Cold Stone Creamery, has granted MNM Investments Lebanon SAL, part of M1 Group, the master franchise rights to Lebanon under a 10-year master franchise agreement.

“M1 Group is a well-established organization in Lebanon with a great reputation in all of its diverse business sectors, including food & beverage and retail,” says Eddy Jimenez, senior vice president of international operations and development at Kahala Brands. “Moreover, its expertise in the Lebanese real estate market allows it the knowledge and experience to secure strategic locations for the Cold Stone Creamery brand.”

Cold Stone Creamery has continued to make strong key moves into the international market in recent years. The international growth of Cold Stone Creamery began in November 2005 when the first international store opened in Tokyo, Japan. Today, stores are operating in over 300 international locations and in 27 countries, including the Philippines, Kuwait, India, Trinidad, Nigeria, Egypt and Indonesia.

Headquartered in Scottsdale, Ariz., Cold Stone Creamery is owned by parent company Kahala Brands™, one of the fastest growing franchising companies in the world, with a portfolio of 18 quick-service restaurant concepts.
