Conshohocken, Pa. — David’s Bridal, a leading bridal and special occasion retailer in the U.S., is partnering with Diltex, a leading manufacturer and retailer of intimate apparel in Mexico, to open its first franchise location in Mexico City. The store is expected to open by the end of 2016 with additional franchise locations planned to open over the next 5 years across the country.

“David’s Bridal is looking forward to opening our first store in Mexico and we’re thrilled to have Diltex as a partner. This will be our first franchise partnership, a decision we made in order to tap into the extensive local knowledge of Diltex, their expertise of the language and culture, and the ability for quick international growth,” says Pamela Wallack, CEO and president of David’s Bridal.

With the expansion into Mexico, David’s Bridal will now have stores located in five countries: the United States, Canada, England, Scotland and Mexico. David’s Bridal opened its first store outside of the United States in Toronto, Canada, in 2011 and expanded into the UK when the first store opened in the London area in 2014.

Currently, there are more than 300 David’s Bridal stores located across the U.S., Canada, UK and Puerto Rico. For more information, visit www.davidsbridal.com.
