Dink & Dine Pickle Parks to Debut ‘Eatertainment’ Concept in Arizona

by Katie Lee

Orange County, Calif. — Embracing the fervor surrounding the beloved sport of pickleball, Dink & Dine Pickle Parks, based in Orange County, Calif., plans to revolutionize the Arizona market with a new pickleball “eatertainment” concept. Located at Mesa Riverview, an open-air shopping center in Mesa, Ariz., the venue will offer 11 pickleball courts, four restaurants, multiple bars, seating for over 300 guests, a live music stage, and supplementary play areas. The Mesa location marks the inaugural Dink & Dine establishment, with negotiations underway for expansion into Southern California, Northern California, Salt Lake City and Idaho.

Following the launch of the initial complexes, Dink & Dine plans to explore franchise opportunities — with a company goal to expand across five western states by 2025.

“Socializing and business discussions are now happening on the pickleball court and Dink & Dine Pickle Parks will expand this exponentially,” says COO Monica Challingsworth. “We will have a full calendar of social activities, tournaments, lessons and games and a stage and entertainment area for live music. With an emphasis on corporate and social events, we will provide full event planning and implementation.”

“We’re excited to have Dink & Dine Pickle Parks join Mesa Riverview,” says Chris Byrd, senior director of real estate, Arizona, for KIMCO. “With its vibrant, active indoor/outdoor pickleball ‘eatertainment’ venue, Dink & Dine will provide an exciting and unique new experiential offering for our guests to enjoy.”

Technological enhancements, such as 25+ TV monitors and QR code ordering, will elevate the guest experience, while diversifying gaming options beyond pickleball to include cornhole, bocce ball and more.
