Charlotte, N.C. — Dr. Ilham Kadri has been appointed president and chief executive officer of Diversey. Dr. Kadri will be responsible for establishing Diversey as a standalone business and leading it to realize its full potential as a global leader in the hygiene and cleaning industry.

Diversey is becoming a standalone business that will encompass several businesses that Bain Capital Private Equity, a leading global private investment firm, has agreed to purchase from Sealed Air Corporation. Dr. Kadri’s appointment will be effective upon the closing of the sale to Bain Capital Private Equity, which is expected in September 2017.

Diversey will include the Diversey Care division of Sealed Air as well as the food hygiene solution business that is part of its food care division. Diversey will integrate chemicals, floor care machines, tools and equipment, with a wide range of technology based value-added services, food safety services and water and energy management.
