Kansas City, Mo. — Eddie V’s will open in Kansas City on October 24, 2016. The new, 9,800-square-foot restaurant will open in the Country Club Plaza district, joining the thriving shopping and nightlife destination.
The concept’s eclectic atmosphere puts a modern twist on Prohibition-era speakeasies, where cocktails and jazz were the height of fashion. Live jazz and blues are played nightly by nationally and locally-acclaimed musicians in the restaurant’s V Lounge.
“Kansas City has one of the most exhilarating and diverse food, cocktail and live music cultures in the country,” says David Dworsky, managing partner, Eddie V’s Kansas City. “We are excited to add our own charismatic vibe to the community.”
Eddie V’s Kansas City, located at 700 West 47th St., will have a seating capacity of 318 guests across the main dining room and four private dining rooms. The space will be highlighted by a glass-enclosed, walk-through wine cellar and contemporary, Art Deco-inspired design. The V Lounge features an oval-shaped bar top, cocktail tables and elevated booth seating, along with a small stage where local jazz and blues trios perform nightly.
