Spartanburg, S.C. — Eggs Up Grill, a fast-growing “better breakfast” restaurant franchise, wil open its 100th location next month. This milestone follows 4 years of rapid expansion during which the brand nearly doubled in size, driven by consistent positive guest counts, a 40% increase in average restaurant volumes, and strong same-store sales performance as Eggs Up Grill approaches its 19th consecutive quarter of growth.
“This milestone is not just about reaching our 100th location; it is another in our growing list of accomplishments built on our unique brand positioning and commitment to be the compelling choice for guests and franchisees,” says Ricky Richardson, CEO of Eggs Up Grill. “The foundation we have built creates exciting opportunities ahead.”
The 100th restaurant will open in Kingsport, Tenn., on Sept. 8 under the ownership of multi-unit franchise partner Ken Bates. A former Little Caesars operator, Bates opened his first two Eggs Up Grill restaurants in the Tri-Cities area with his son Ethan. Now, as they prepare to open their third restaurant, they have unveiled plans to add four additional locations across East Tennessee and Knoxville.
Eggs Up Grill will close out 2025 with system-wide revenues approaching $140 million, more than 105 restaurants across 11 states and 25+ additional locations on track to open in 2026. For more information, visit: https://eggsupgrillfranchise.com/ and https://eggsupgrill.com/.
