Oak Brook, Ill. — Signal Corporation, a leader in environmental and safety solutions, has promoted Samuel E. Miceli to senior vice president of its Environmental Solutions Group (ESG). ESG is a leading manufacturer and supplier of a full range of street sweeper vehicles, sewer cleaner and vacuum loader trucks, hydro-excavation trucks and high-performance waterblasting equipment.

In this new role, Miceli will lead all aspects of ESG’s business, which generated $537 million of net sales in 2014. Miceli joined the company in 1993, serving most recently as general manager of Vactor/Guzzler, with previous responsibility for the operations of Elgin Sweeper.

“ESG has an exceptional management team, and Sam has been a key leader while ESG has excelled in recent years,” says Jennifer L. Sherman, chief operating officer. “As senior vice president, Sam will continue our focus on operational excellence, strong operating margins, organic and inorganic growth and disciplined execution of ESG’s strategic plans. Sam’s experience and leadership are invaluable to ESG’s pursuit of profitable growth.”

Federal Signal has also promoted Daniel A. DuPre to vice president, general counsel and secretary. DuPre joined the company in 2006, most recently serving as its deputy general counsel.
