Indianapolis — hhgregg, a leading appliances, electronics and furniture retailer, has secured and promoted top-level talent into critical positions within the company that is making aggressive efforts at growth while keeping a keen eye on profitability with Fine Lines specialty store additions, inventory controls and distribution efficiencies.

Chris Sutton has been promoted to senior vice president of marketing. Formerly the vice president of marketing, Sutton will have oversight on all marketing initiatives as well as hhgregg’s growing e-commerce channel. During his 9-year tenure with hhgregg, the company has grown from 67 stores to 220.
Andrew Terry has been named senior vice president of merchandising for appliances. Hired in July 2015, Terry joined hhgregg from LG Electronics USA where roles included director of sales positions as well as national account manager for large retail clients.
Mabelle Lim has been hired as vice president of merchandising for home décor. Lim joined hhgregg in July 2016. Previously, she was divisional merchandise manager at Pier 1 Imports in Fort Worth, Texas. Prior to Pier 1, Lim held multiple roles for Arhaus Furniture and Storehouse Inc.
Matt Phillips has been hired as senior vice president of merchandising for electronics. Before joining hhgregg on July 25, 2016, Phillips was divisional merchandising manager at Groupon. Prior to Groupon, he spent 8 years at Best Buy where he held multiple roles in the merchandising department.
