Houston — Preparing to expand its services nationally, Houston-based Jamail & Smith Construction has hired Kristi Kelly-Lowery as its new director of business development. Kelly-Lowery has an extensive background in nationwide commercial construction. Previously, she was director of business development and construction at Triad Retail Construction.
Jamail & Smith Construction has been a major part of the Texas construction industry since its inception in 1982. The company began by constructing shopping centers and retail facilities, but today Jamail & Smith Construction specializes in many services, such as job order contracting (JOC), new building construction, design-build, and construction management at risk. In addition to its Houston headquarters, the company has offices in Austin, Clear Lake, Dallas, Killeen and San Antonio.
