Norfolk, Va. — On February 14, 2019, Jersey Mike’s Subs opened in Norfolk, Va., aboard Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek-Fort Story in the Main Navy Exchange food court. Franchise owners Martin Anderson and Clark Stallings, along with operating partner Tristan Lee, will celebrate with a fundraiser for The Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society.

This is the third location the trio has opened together. Anderson and Stallings own and operate a total of 12 Jersey Mike’s restaurants in the Hampton Roads area, with two others expected to open this spring.

“We are pleased to bring our authentic sub sandwiches to the troops and their families stationed here at Little Creek-Fort Story,” says Phil Capozzi, vice president, non-traditional development, Jersey Mike’s Franchise Systems, Inc. “Jersey Mike’s is now available to three branches of the U.S. military: Army, Navy and Marines.”

In December 2017, Jersey Mike’s opened its first restaurant on a military base at Schofield Barracks in Oahu, Hawaii. In February 2018, Jersey Mike’s opened aboard the Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center, Twentynine Palms, Calif.

The sub shop is staffed by civilians, family members of service members at the installation and retired military.

Started in 1956, Jersey Mike’s now has 2,000 restaurants open and under development nationwide. For more information, visit: www.jerseymikes.com/franchise.
