Jersey Mike’s Opens on University Campus in New Jersey

Montclair, N.J. — Jersey Mike’s Subs recently opened on the campus of Montclair State University in Montclair, N.J. The sub shop is run by the school’s foodservice partner, Montclair State Dining through Chartwells Higher Education Dining Services. This is Jersey Mike’s first partnership with Chartwells.

Jersey Mike’s at the Plaza at Blanton Hall joins other dining options including Blanton C-store, Dunkin’ and Chili’s.

Jersey Mike’s will accept the student meal plan in addition to the university discretionary funds, Red Hawk Dollar, Flex Dollars and cash/credit. This Jersey Mike’s will also offer Grub Hub mobile food ordering. Students can preorder and prepay so their order is ready for pickup when they arrive.

“Students have been excited about Jersey Mike’s coming since we announced it,” says Dora Lim, resident district manager, Montclair State Dining, Chartwells. “It’s a well-recognized name and everyone can’t wait to get a Jersey Mike’s sub without leaving campus.”

Jersey Mike’s is also popular on New Jersey campuses including Monmouth University, Seton Hall University, Kean University, Rowan University and Rider University.
