Edmond, Okla. — After celebrating the opening of its 50th location earlier this year, Jimmy’s Egg Franchise Systems (JEFS) has signed six new area development agreements for 52 new restaurants to be built in Kansas, Arkansas, Texas, New Mexico, Nebraska and Iowa.
This development activity will bring Jimmy’s Egg into three new states: Arkansas, New Mexico and Iowa.
“We are very excited to continue growing the Jimmy’s Egg brand from a regional to national chain. We’ve experienced a lot of growth over the last few years and feel we are well positioned to continue bringing better breakfast and lunch options to markets around us,” says Kevin Burke, president of Jimmy’s Egg®. “Most of our franchise partners are active in store development efforts and we appreciate their commitment to growing the brand.”
The first Jimmy’s Egg® was founded by Loc Le and opened in Oklahoma City in 1980. Le grew Jimmy’s Egg® from a single restaurant to the 51-unit chain it is today and remains involved as chairman of the board. The restaurant chain is one of the fastest-growing small chains in the U.S.
