MaintenX International Reflects on Successful 2019

by Katie Lee

Tampa, Fla. — MaintenX International, one of the nation’s largest providers of self-performing facility maintenance, has experienced several important milestones that were achieved in 2019, including the addition of a new division and a new office.

“Each year for more than 40 years we’ve had something to celebrate,” says Bill Schaphorst, vice president of business development at MaintenX. “This year is certainly no different.”

2019 brought tremendous growth for MaintenX. The company added its waterproofing division to help support customer needs, and dozens of new employees from coast to coast. It also launched a redesigned website with easier navigation, brighter colors and the latest news and information to improve the customer experience.

Record-setting growth in MaintenX’s customer base helped ensure the success of a new Southern California office. The San Diego office will allow for continued growth in the Western U.S. market and features parking and warehouse space for storing equipment, generators and vehicles when not in use.

MaintenX also spent 2019 giving back to the community. It sponsored and dedicated its first Habitat for Humanity home and announced the sponsorship of a second home in 2020. There were numerous charity-support events, including the Treasure Chests 5k in support of breast cancer research, school repairs in Puerto Rico, and the sponsorship of 140 Salvation Army “Angel Tree” kids.

Schaphorst noted that giving back to the community is part of the corporate culture at MaintenX. The company is also committed to creating a positive culture for team members across the country.

“Our commitment to our colleagues and communities is at the heart of all that MaintenX does,” he says. “We believe in giving back to the people and places that give so much to us.”

MaintenX has been providing best-in-class facility maintenance and repair services to retail stores, restaurant chains and Fortune 500 companies across the nation for more than 40 years. For more information, visit http://www.maintenx.com.
