Plymouth, MN — Nilfisk-Advance Group, one of the world’s leading manufacturers and distributors of professional floor cleaning equipment, has hired Jeff Barna as president and general manager of Nilfisk-Advance U.S., the company’s American headquarters located in Plymouth, Minn.

With 25 years of experience in the North American commercial and industrial markets, Barna joins Nilfisk-Advance from the global battery manufacturer, Exide Technologies. Barna was most recently the senior vice president of sales and service of Exide’s Americas business, where he was responsible for sales of over $1.2 billion.
Prior to joining Exide Technologies, Barna was recruited by Millard Refrigerated Services in Omaha as senior vice president of sales and marketing. Millard provided refrigeration and logistics services to major retail, foodservice and food distribution companies.
