Atlanta — Leading golf equipment and apparel retailer PGA TOUR Superstore has signed leases for three new stores in 2017.
With a successful interactive retail model in place, PGA TOUR Superstore recently acquired a Sports Authority location in Glendale, Ariz., set to open in January 2017, and is also planning new stores in Hilton Head, S.C., (for April 2017) and in Jacksonville, Fla. (later next year). This November, PGA TOUR Superstore will also open a 45,500-square-foot store in The Woodlands, Texas, marking its 27th store.
“There are more than 26 million golfers in America and there is a demand for the experience we provide,” says Dick Sullivan, president and CEO of PGA TOUR Superstore. “We have built a retail model that is second to none and we’re eager to bring our unmatched retail experience to golf-centric markets.”
Glendale represents the company’s fifth Arizona location (joining Chandler, North Scottsdale, Scottsdale and Tucson), while Hilton Head represents their third store in South Carolina (joining Myrtle Beach and South Myrtle Beach) and Jacksonville will be the fourth PGA TOUR Superstore Florida location (joining Delray Beach, Naples and Orlando).
Each store is staffed with PGA of America teaching professionals and houses up to 14 state-of-the-art swing simulators and hitting bays, and an expansive putting green along with an in-house club making and repair facility. PGA TOUR Superstore offers the largest selection of golf clubs, balls, accessories, apparel, footwear and tennis of any retailer in the U.S.
PGA TOUR Superstore is operated by Golf & Tennis Pro Shop, Inc., a subsidiary of AMB Group, LLC, headquartered in Roswell, Ga. For more information, visit www.pgatoursuperstore.com.
