Lake in The Hills, IL — Watterson Environmental Group, a leader in environmental turnkey consulting services, has hired Steve Peldiak as president. He joins the company from Sears Holdings Corporation where, during his 15-year career with the retailer, he held numerous senior level positions, most recently as the divisional vice president of the facility maintenance organization. In this role, Peldiak lead operations and strategic direction with full responsibility for maintenance execution and expense management for more than 3,000 retail locations. Peldiak’s executive experience within Sears brings to Watterson a thorough understanding of the role facility maintenance organizations play within retail.
In addition to his experience at Sears within the facility maintenance organization, Peldiak brings a wealth of knowledge and proven success in retail operations, construction, and environmental, health and safety. Prior to joining Sears, Peldiak worked in the environmental and engineering consulting services field.
