Miami — FRONTIER Building, an experience-focused national general construction, construction management and design-build contractor, has completed the construction of the new Burlington in Doral, Fla., near Miami International Mall. The project is part of a redevelopment of a Toys “R” Us and Babies “R” Us stores that will also include a future Total Wine & More. FRONTIER demolished and redesigned the existing façade entry for the new Burlington, as well as managed the interior buildout of the more than 42,000-square-foot department store. FRONTIER Companies Completes 2 Wawa Convenience Stores and Gas Stations in Virginia

Miami — FRONTIER Companies has completed construction on the Wawa convenience store and gas station located at 10691 Davidson Pl. in Manassas, Va. (pictured above) The site was the former home of Don Pablo’s Mexican Kitchen restaurant, which closed in 2018. FRONTIER Companies purchased the 1.65-acre lot in November 2018. The property is an outparcel to a Lowe’s Home Improvement store. FRONTIER Building, the company’s building division, began the demolition of the former restaurant in September 2019. North Miami Beach, Fla. — FRONTIER Building has completed a new Wawa convenience store and gas station located at 530 NE 167th St. in North Miami Beach, Fla. The new 6,119-square-foot outpost is located on a corner lot which formerly housed a Krispy Kreme. It has an outdoor sitting area and six pumping stations. FRONTIER Building Transforms Former Sports Authority into New Burlington Store

Miami — FRONTIER Building has completed the construction of a new Burlington store located at 3705 West 20th Ave. in Hialeah, Fla., for Sterling Organization. The existing 40,000-square-foot structure was formerly a Sports Authority, which FRONTIER transformed into the new department store retailer. The project required extensive façade renovations to achieve the new brand’s look. FRONTIER Building Completes KFC Renovation After Fire

Miami — FRONTIER Building has completed the post-fire renovation of Kentucky Fried Chicken in Kimball, Tenn., which will restore more than 20 jobs in the community. In June 2019, the fast-casual establishment was destroyed by an overnight fire and was declared a total loss. Construction on the new structure began in November 2019 when Miami-based FRONTIER was hired to build a new ground-up structure and upgrade the parking lot of the fire-damaged establishment. FRONTIER Building Completes North Miami Krispy Kreme

North Miami, Fla. — South Florida’s iconic Krispy Kreme, located on 167th Street in North Miami, has been replaced with a larger, more modern version of the famous Hot N’ Ready doughnut shop with a few additional features.
