DICK’S Sporting Goods to Acquire Moosejaw

Pittsburgh — DICK’S Sporting Goods has agreed to acquire leading outdoor retailer Moosejaw from Walmart. The acquisition will expand DICK’S outdoor portfolio — currently led by its specialty retailer, Public Lands — and reaffirm its commitment to the long term business opportunity in the growing multibillion-dollar outdoor category. The deal is expected to close in March 2023. Moosejaw, founded in Michigan in 1992, operates a successful e-commerce platform, has a loyal customer base, strong vendor relationships with outdoor brands and a passionate workforce. Pittsburgh — DICK’S Sporting Goods will expand its nationwide footprint with the grand opening of one DICK’S Sporting Goods location, one Warehouse Sale location and two locations of a new off-price store concept — Going, Going, Gone! — in May. Pittsburgh, Pa. — DICK’S Sporting Goods opened its first-ever DICK’S House of Sport, a new concept store, in Victor, N.Y., on April 9. Dick’s Sporting Goods Opening 11 Stores in Nine States in August

Pittsburgh — Dick’s Sporting Goods plans to open 11 stores in nine states by the end of August. The Pittsburgh-based retailer will open stores in Hyannis and Brockton, Mass.; Deptford, N.J.; and Midland, Texas. It will also open a Dick’s Sporting Goods and Golf Galaxy location in Atlanta. Dick’s Sporting Goods Warehouse locations will open in Orland Park, Ill.; Englewood, Colo.; Fairfax, Va.; Amherst, N.Y.; and Brockton, Mass.
