Providence, R.I. and Minneapolis — Natural and organic products distributor United Natural Foods Inc. has agreed to acquire Supervalu Inc. for $2.9 billion.
Minneapolis — SUPERVALU has completed the previously announced sales of 21 of its 38 Farm Fresh stores to three different retailers: Harris Teeter, Kroger Mid-Atlantic Division and Food Lion.
